This Privacy Policy explains how BlueID Group LLC (“BlueID Group,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information provided by users of our website, NFC-enabled identification tags, and software services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, which govern use of the Services and contain important disclaimers regarding limitations of liability and system functionality. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information You Voluntarily Provide
We collect information that users or organizations voluntarily provide, including when they:
- Create an account
- Register or manage NFC tags
- Create or manage an organization
- Submit or store information on a profile
- Contact customer support
This may include:
- Name
- Contact details (email, phone number, address)
- Company and role information
- Emergency contacts
- Voluntarily submitted emergency or health-related information
All emergency-related or health-related information is optional and fully controlled by the user or organization submitting it.
Technical and Usage Information
We may collect limited technical data, including:
- IP address
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type
- Access timestamps
- System interaction logs
This information is used for security, system functionality, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Services may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember user preferences, and support core platform functionality. These are essential cookies required for the Services to operate properly.

Use of emergency-related fields is optional and not required to use the Services.
4. HIPAA NON-APPLICABILITY
BlueID Group LLC is not a “covered entity” or “business associate” under HIPAA or similar healthcare privacy laws.
Information stored or transmitted through the Services is not subject to HIPAA protections. Users acknowledge and agree that HIPAA does not apply.
5. ORGANIZATION AND EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY
Organizations, employers, administrators, and account owners are solely responsible for:
- Obtaining required consents
- Ensuring accuracy and legality of submitted data
- Complying with applicable employment, labor, and privacy laws
BlueID Group acts only as a technology platform provider and does not verify or validate organization-submitted data.
6. DATA SECURITY AND HOSTING
We use industry-standard security measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect data.
However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Use of the Services is at the user's own risk.
We are not responsible for failures of third-party infrastructure providers, hosting systems, or network services.
7. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION
In the event of a data breach that compromises personal information, BlueID Group will notify affected users and organizations in accordance with applicable state breach notification laws. Notification will be provided through reasonable means, which may include email, in-platform alerts, or written notice, within the timeframes required by applicable law.
BlueID Group will take reasonable steps to investigate and contain any breach and to prevent future occurrences. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur, and use of the Services is at the user's own risk.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use third-party service providers to operate the Services, including hosting providers, infrastructure services, analytics tools, and payment processors.
Payment processing is handled by third-party providers, including Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) and other PCI-compliant payment processors.
Payment information is transmitted directly to these providers and is not stored by BlueID Group LLC.
These third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies and security standards.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
9. VOLUNTARY INFORMATION ACCESS (INCLUDING EMERGENCY USE CONTEXTS)
The Services allow access to voluntarily submitted information through NFC tags or digital profiles.
This information is user-generated, unverified, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unavailable at the time of access.
The Services are informational only and are not designed for emergency response, medical treatment, dispatch coordination, or safety-critical decision-making.
BlueID Group does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or access at any time, including during incidents or emergency situations.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal and organizational data for as long as accounts remain active.
If an account is inactive for twelve (12) months or a verified deletion request is submitted, data will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.
Deleted data cannot be recovered.
11. DATA ACCESS AND DELETION REQUESTS
Users may request:
- Access to their data
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of their account and associated data

We will process requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
12. STATE-SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain U.S. states have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).

BlueID Group does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

13. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Services are intended for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect or store data from minors.

The Services are hosted and operated in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
15. LIFE, MEDICAL, AND EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER
BlueID Group LLC is not a healthcare provider, emergency responder, dispatch service, or medical organization.
The Services are strictly informational and are not designed to support emergency response, medical care, or safety-critical decision-making.
We do not guarantee that information will be available, accurate, or accessible at the time it is needed.
We do not control or influence how third parties interpret or use information accessed through the Services, including first responders, employers, or bystanders.
Users and organizations assume all risk associated with reliance on the Services.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (PRIVACY-RELATED)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlueID Group LLC's total liability for any claim related to data handling or privacy shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user to BlueID Group in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Third-party service failures, including Stripe or infrastructure providers
- Payment processing errors or delays
- System outages or downtime
- Data loss or corruption
- Inability to access information at any time
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
17. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated when required.
